For Her Pleasure Blog Tour

Hello friends!!

For the second time I am embarking on a blog tour. This is where I travel around the web leaving little snippets at the doorsteps of various bloggers around the world without ever having to leave the comforts of my newly set up office. I could have done the whole thing in my jammies, you’d never know! Oh, I shouldn’t say that, should I? I should tell you I wrote it naked while being fed grapes from an Adonis named Lamar. Okay, scratch the jammies, it was Lamar with the grapes.

For Her Pleasure dropped just over a week ago and it will be the focus of the tour. I know the point of these blog tours is to bring your book to a wider audience but for anybody who is already reading, what I also hope is to bring you real insight into my story. I try to blog about something unique and interesting each time. If you’ve already read For Her Pleasure but perhaps want to know a little more about the evolution of it or hear some armchair psychology on some of the kinks involved, I hope you’ll come along. I will blog about everything from femdom to premature ejaculation to erotic humiliation. And you might even learn a little more about me. ;)

Blog Tour Starts Monday!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're well and surviving the winter, since I think most of you are in the colder parts of the world. I, however, am experiencing my first sweltering January Down Under. And wouldn't you know it, the air conditioner in our new house up and quit on us. Yesterday it was over 40 degrees all day and over 35 degrees until well past 10pm. Normally if it were that time of night and hubby was using ice cubes for something other than drinks I might get excited. Unfortunately this was to actually cool things down.

Today it's a balmy 28 degrees and we are much more comfortable. And my news is that my first ever blog tour starts on Monday! I am really excited to be appearing at various fun and interesting blogs to talk about Book Two in the Draper Estates Trilogy, Sapphic Secrets. Whether you've already read any of the trilogy or not it should be fun and I hope you'll join me in visiting each stop on the tour. I worked hard to make each post interesting and to give you a bit of 'behind the scenes' insight into the writing, the story and the characters.

As luck would have it, I'm going to be camping in the wild Australian outback during the beginning of the tour! Okay, it will be in a trailer park along the harbour with my family... but we writer types like to call that poetic license. Anyway, I will be tweeting the blog links for you so have a look along the right side of my blog here for where to go.

Currently I'm working on posts for my upcoming blog tour and trying to think up interesting little tidbits to share with you about the "behind the scenes" of Sapphic Secrets. If there's something you'd like to know about the story, the characters, the writing or anything, shoot me an email or post it in the comments here. Merry Christmas KC style... with free smut!

Hello my friends!

Oh, I have to write another one of these ‘sorry I haven’t posted in a while’ ones again. It’s just… guess what happens when you move house (after just immigrating), have Christmas and two kids birthdays all in the same month? You have exactly NO free time!

Enough excuses though. I hope you are well and enjoying some holiday fun. I have some news for you. Book Two in my Draper Estates Trilogy, Sapphic Secrets, is out today! So if you’ve been dying to know all the naughtiness that Celeste got up to with Lillianne after we left them high but definitely not dry in Book One, the wait is over. Just click here.

For five days, from December 26 – 30^th, you will be able to download and read all about Lilly’s continued torment and it will cost you not a thing. Which, I don’t know about you, but after the expense of Christmas, I’d appreciate something without a price tag… or with one that reads $0.00. :)

Writing news

One good thing about not having posted much lately is that now I have lots of news to share with you!

The first is that I have new material out! In case you haven’t seen my tweets (and if you haven’t, why not? You should be following me on Twitter, silly!) the new HarperCollins Mischief collection Cougar came out at the end of last month and it includes my short story Dear Fuckbook. It’s a naughty little tale about a recently dumped woman in her forties who decides to take advantage of her new found freedom to go a little wild. Debauchery and sluttiness ensue. I actually blogged about it back in June so if you want a tiny peek at it, have a look here.

Second up is an update on my very first HarperCollins single author title. And the title is what I need to tell you about. Remember how I asked for your help, I put some suggestions up, conducted a poll and you voted for At Her Feet? I was so happy with your input; that was the name I liked too! So I was all content and satisfied that I had the best title. Well guess what? They’ve changed it. Ha. That’s how things roll in this industry I guess my friends and as much as I wanted to stamp my feet and insist they use my title, I thought better of it in the end. It is HarperCollins after all and you have to figure they know a little more about publishing and what sells books than little ol’ fledgling writer me. So For Her Pleasure it is!

And I have a publishing date for it now! February 21, 2013! I’ve even put a little countdown up here so that you won’t forget. Do you want to hear what my editor said when he read the manuscript? He said it’s “one of the best femdom books I’ve read in years.” Gah! I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with his praise. He is an excellent editor, not someone who just hands out compliments willy nilly and he’s been clear in the past when I’ve submitted work that was just not up to snuff – which I really appreciate. He keeps me on my toes. His opinion matters so much to me so you can be sure I celebrated his words with more than one glass of wine!

Finally, I am pleased to tell you I have finished the second installment of my trilogy. Draper Estate Book Two: Sapphic Secrets has been submitted and I await news on its acceptance. I will let you know ASAP when you can expect to have it available for purchase.
