Apologies!

Oh lovely readers! Can you forgive me??

I guess there comes a point in every relationship when one party is neglectful. And it seems that point has come early on here! I apologize that it’s been so long since I’ve posted and that my tweets and status updates have been few and far between. Yes, I’ve been hard at work on the second book in the Draper Estate trilogy. But I’m a writer. That’s what writers do, they write. I’m always writing and I don’t plan to simply neglect my blog when doing so.

Alas, this time it seems the combination of the Canada-Australia move with the writing proved too much. There is just so much involved in a global move like this, you can’t imagine! And it continues. We’re not quite settled yet. I won’t bore you with the gory details but suffice to say that I cross my fingers on a daily basis that no burly looking Aussie from immigration comes knocking to kick us out of the country since not all members of the family have quite made resident status yet.

But you don’t want to hear about my woes! The fact is as I type this I am seated at a patio table in a pergola (that’s a covered outdoor area, for you non-Aussies) enjoying the eucalyptus tinged air and Aussie birdsong with my coffee. So life is good, really, my friends.
And the second book in the Draper Estate trilogy is done and dusted, as they say here Down Under. Or well, I’ve sent it off to my editor anyway. Have you heard what I’m calling it? Sapphic Secrets. That is, unless the publisher decides to change it, which seems to be a theme with my books. But more on that later.

For now I’ll sign off with promises of another excerpt from the recently submitted Sapphic Secrets in just a few days! So check back and make sure I’ve been a good girl and posted.

Kisses!

KC

  1. KC - not being sycophantic here but I am proud to be a huge fan of yours and waiting to read ur work might be tough but the quality, uniqueness and sheer excitement and satisfaction (in every sense, lol!!!) inherent in everything you create makes it all worthwhile.....Sapphic secrets' sounds delicious, like most men and as I have 'confessed' before what could excite and provoke a reaction more sweetly than that subject!!!! Will await the excerpt homey.....talent like yours is precious....XXX
